    Visual Description

    A clay skull with large eyes, and white clay “teeth” wears a bowler hat covered in white-on-black dots. The much larger-than-life skull measures 36 x 26 by 16.5 inches. Painted black curlicues and rings of golden paper petals circle the skull’s eye sockets. Many paper monarch butterflies circle the skull's hat and face. A tiny skull rests in the gap where the skull’s nose would be.
