Visual Description
A tactile textile exploration of strobing double-vision. Vertical strips of printed turquoise and violet “faux batik” cotton dotted with contrasting random blue, purple, rose, burnt-orange, yellow-green, and green droplets are hand-sewn-by-feel.
Hand-cut slightly wonky one-inch tactile “dancing” squares of Indonesian cotton batik in turquoise, gold, yellow, red, dusty rose, acid green with wonky yellow polka dots, and Kaffe Fasset Paperweight Jewel fabric, are hand-appliquéd in almost horizontal rows.
