Visual Description
Two figures embrace in the center of this small canvas, measuring 9” x 12”. We see them from the side. The figure on the left is painted mostly in orange, the figure on the right in blue. The surface of their skin seems to be covered in black lines, or “cracks”, as if made from ceramic that has cracked. At the center of their embrace, where their hearts might be, is a heart shape, emanating rays of white light. The figures are surrounded by a background of green and pink.
