Visual Description
Diptych of two 26” x 32” x 3” frames, hanging side by side, with a gap of 4 inches between them. On the left is a monoprint, in black and white of a swath of loosely-woven fabric printed onto a rectangle of silk. On the right, is a gray, black and white “ghostprint”, lifted from the monoprint, of the same swath of loosely-woven fabric, in which we can see the fine threads, folds and weave of the piece of cloth.
