Visual Description
Hanging on the wall, the woven sculpture comprises bulbous organic shapes - made of yarn, fabric and thread - which seem to grow from each other, perhaps as algae or mold. The overall shape is a rough oval, with mushroom-like bumps or out-crops along the edge. The piece is colored in circular and oval patches of blues, greens, reds and pinks, and the surface appears rough and bumpy, as if embroidered.
