Visual Description
This artwork comprises a dark, thin wire grid, of 1” squares, layered onto which are short strands of wire, fully covering the grid, as if a thick layer of wire fur. At the base of each row of “fur”, the wire has also been wrapped tightly around the horizontal lines of the grid, making those horizontal lines darker. At the very bottom of the grid, the wire fur makes a thick, long and even fringe. The work does not lie flat against the wall, but undulates out, at a depth of 3 inches in places.Further images
